Her academic pedigree is equally distinguished; after earning a B.Sc. in Accounting and an MBA, Nayoma completed her PhD in Accountancy at RMIT University - Melbourne.

As a former university lecturer, she’s taught management accounting, financial reporting, taxation, and auditing, bridging theory and practice to forge best-in-class methodologies for revenue growth and cost management. As a Director of Finance for the Australian Group of Companies, Nayoma shaped strategic business decisions through rigorous financial management, cash-flow forecasting, investment appraisal, and enterprise-wide risk controls.

She spearheaded the implementation of ISO quality standards and led complex ERP rollouts, underscoring her talent for driving operational excellence and managing transformational change.
